How to use Sync iPad

If you're using an iPad, there many come a time when you run out of space on the device and are unable to get updates to apps. How do you kill music on the iPad without losing it on the PC and iPhone when you sync iTunes?

Instead of automatically synchronizing all the music in the iTunes library to every device, you should be more selective about what goes on each iOS gadgets. Set the iPad to only copy certain playlists (or no music at all ) to the iPad, while leaving your current settings for the iPhone intact. If you have not synced up the iPad with iTunes recently connect it to the computer, using the Transfer Purchases from iPad option under the file menu to copy any music purchased on the tablet back to the computer. ( You can also back up the iPad by right clicking its icon in the iTunes windows and choosing Back Up ).

Now with the iPad icon still selected on the left side of the iTunes window, click the music tab at the top of screen. Turn off the Sync Music check box if you wish to remove all the songs from iPad this still leaves everything in the iTunes library. If you want some music on the iPad you can pick and choose. Leave the Sync Music box checked but click the option for " Selected Playlist, Artists, Albums and Genres" at the top of the iTunes screen. In the lower part of the window, check off the boxes next to any playlists or other items you want to keep on the iPad.

When you have made your selections, click the Apply and the Sync buttons at bottom of the iTunes window. Apple has additional suggestions for syncing content or manually moving it to the iPad and a page of information on using multiple iPads, iPhones, iPods on one computer.

I am sure you have views and ideas on how to use Sync iPad and i would like to see in the comment section.
